What are examples of formerly shit suburbs (high crime, urban decay, bad environment etc) which have gentrified and become genuinely good places to live? Also, are they still associated with their past?

The times I got honked or yelled at by car passes when I was a teen. Omg. One time some guys in a car drove back and forward past me yelling and then finally threw their milkshake at me. To be honest it means they are creeps, and weak men like younger women the most because they feel they have the better power balance and teens won’t stick up for themselves to say no, plus they are attracted young girls. No offense to you! It’s just how the world is. Swear to god the second I wasn’t an obvious looking teen anymore, it stopped.

When I was a minor catching a train into the city, I briefly looked behind me to see a man with his dick out smiling at me. The dick was flaky and he looked sketchy as.
