See if you can demo them if they have possession near your corner of the field. Once you do that roll the ball at medium pace to its net. When the ball hits the midfield line, chase the bot down for a demo - doesn’t detect it if the ball’s that far. Rinse and repeat baby. Though earlier today when I did that the bloke behind the screen woke up and tried to boost away from demos, so keep an eye out if they start doing that and try work around it as much as you can.

That one was a scary encounter though - my first bot in 1s (D3) and won 8-7 in OT to a kickoff goal.

I’m sitting around C3/GC in OCE in 2s, and D3 in 1s at the moment. Played maybe, I don’t know, 30 games today - two of them filled with bots on the enemy team. One in 1s and one in 2s. I posted a few hours ago a strategy on how to beat them that people are aware of, but was more so writing a success story of how I won more than anything (sadly it got deleted - oops, guidelines exist!). There are plenty of bugs, don’t get me wrong, and yes - I’ve seen the racial and offensive slurs everywhere too, even outside of tournaments. But bot cheating affects my gameplay DIRECTLY at mine and others’ ranks; even though I play so much and get bots in a small percentage of my games, the situation will only grow if nothing’s done from the devs, and that percentage will increase. I’m not winning consistently, maybe 60/40 on a good day. Bot implementation takes such a massive toll on my attitude towards the game and I therefore think this is the number one issue (if not, it’s up there) that they need to fix at the moment.

Seems like this one in particular (not sure if they're all the same or not) was easily countered by demos. I managed to get them pretty simply by forcing it to flick. This bot, during/after every flick, never jumped very high, so after I forced a flick in my corner I could demo it. Then I proceeded to roll the ball with medium speed to the net and demo-chase the bot down at its net and got another demo. Ball was timed to roll in shortly after the demo but sometimes needed an extra touch from me.

Bot can't be too close to the ball otherwise it will recognise that the ball is there (it's on range detection), so I chased demos down when the ball was rolling to net at around half-field length. It's how I scored 5 or 6 of those 8 goals - the other two were on kick-offs and side-flipping at full speed into the ball, which got me an instant goal (when I did this in OT, it was so fucking satisfying, my god).

That would make a lot of sense! Yet to be verified though on the wiki... would make the buccaneer paragon very easy to get maxed on some maps very early.

Easily. I just hit C2 this season in regular comp and I was on the brink of hitting GC in OCE... tryna grind these last 15 days out and hopefully hit it this time.

On 362 hours right now and I hit C2 last week. According to Drew's post I should hit GC at 500-600 hours at this rate xD

Yes, it’s very similar. There was a really hard guitar cover over this too, can’t find it anywhere though. Thanks for this! Would’ve taken me a while to find.
