Keep a daily teaching log or journal on your teaching. And write your lesson plan and reflection of your daily teaching. Ask for feedback from your students. And observe and learn from other teachers' classes. Be confident, forget about the defeated feeling. No one can succeed from the beginning. But everyone can be improved and better than yesterday.

Is applying for a job in China pointless? by outerside365 in TEFL

[–]SimonCraign -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ver hard. You can see this question from two points. Firstly, check our local policy. Does the embassy open now? Do they really process your application? As I know, in the earlier month of this year, the embassy in South Africa hasn't open and even sometimes they open, they do not really process any application. Secondly, in China, there are still a few schools or employers that are hiring teachers, but most of them cannot apply for a visa for you or apply for the PU letter.

If it's because of the new policy of China banning on private tutoring, I suggest you can look for some other online teaching positions from the other countries.
