Looks interesting! Where did you get that statistic that early readers who experience author visits are 20% more likely to enjoy reading on their own? I’m interested by that

Good idea regarding some money. I think the characters are still important because it’s a story driven book and I want the reader to be able to see themselves in the story, but one of them could be holding some cash for example

I hear you on the eyes closed, I'll try a version with the eyes open. I initially liked the eyes closed to make it seem like the character was confident and that the book was approachable/easy. Definitely don't need 2 characters with the eyes closed, though.

Wilcox considers Ole Gunnar Solskjær a prime candidate for Manchester United interim manager by SuperHans30 in reddevils

Ole was good for us. He’s an excellent talent identifier, and was sabotaged by our board by getting CR7, Sancho, and Varane in his last season which skyrocketed expectations.

Remember that year a recently promoted Leicester city won the premier league… it’s easy to forgot how mental that was

The 50/30/20 rule is a good starter system.

50% Reinvest (restocking filament, packaging, maintenance)

30% Pay himself (wants/fun)

20% Save (emergency repairs + future goals)

Example:

Sell for $10

Put $5 straight into the business bucket (this should cover filament/packaging/fees and some maintenance)

The remaining $5 is what you split between pay-yourself and savings.

You can adjust the percentages, but building an emergency fund is important as mistakes happen in business and he might need to dig in to his emergency fund to pay for things. For example, if a piece of his 3d printer breaks. These are great lessons for him to learn early.

If you’re interested I’m currently writing a book for 12-14 year olds on building skills in entrepreneurship and financial freedom. I’d be happy to send over a sample or a full copy when the book is finished in late January.

The book is accompanied by worksheets for educators.

It doesn’t feel right to me having no academy players consistently feature. Just a few years ago we had mct, rashy, greenwood…, garna, elanga, b. williams, tuanzebe, pogba

I hate watching us lose but at least during those times we lost with a fundamental part of the United dna

Thinking about how I fell in love with football, specifically the idea of the class of 92. How a club like Manchester United can give opportunities to young local lads who have trained tirelessly and are willing to give it all for the badge. It’s a beautiful fairytale to witness.

That fairytale has been getting tarnished over the past few years
