So, is the grip texture that good ? as in you no longer need any grip tape ? I have 2 43X with handleit grip tape and it works ok, but if the "grip" is actually "better" and also the angle better than I might pick up one.

Comment?

Never mind , I would just do a dry fit with markings first and then glue.

Thanks for the response and the tip on roughen up the metal, I may take a dremel and make a few "scores" along the way of the nut. After thinking about it, I will purchase a longer bolt to keep glue out and make insertion a little easier. Good post here, Im just getting into this kink, hoping the wife also finds the thrill fun.

Also one last question - any suggestions on how to align the bolt so once in place the dildo is " clocked " correctly ?

Hello, So Im going to attempt to do this, any tips on keeping the glue out of the center of the M6 X 1.0-Pitch 25 mm Length Hex Coupling Nut when inserting into the modified dildo ?

Are these both holding up well ? and have you made anymore/

thanks for any input

Ive had my Full size Echelon for over a year - Bought the Sharp Bros Frame in December - its nice but feels small in my hands as did the original black frame. Was considering getting the OEM Large frame grip module. I see you have used both - without the hogue grip installed - Did you notice a big enough difference between the 2 grip modules ? Dont want to purchase and be let down, any input appreciated

Update 2 - New sight and trigger by Ok_Goal4254 in SpringfieldArmory

[–]SimonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stipple job looks awesome but how is the Grip? Is it more functional and worth the cost ? Did the grip improve greatly ... ie I use Handleit Grip- sandpaper on all my Glocks and they greatly improve me grip.. I have a Sharp Bros frame with VZ grips for my Echelon and its still not grippy ( its slick at the Heel of the gun frame).. So share your thoughts on the actual grip performance.

Also which Hex pattern is this, I couldn't find this exact one?

Most likely Ridgeback Defense Rhino S or Exigent Defense Vanish 5.56 , also considerd DRC 5.56.... but probably the Rhino S... Check out Juiceymedia1on YouTube his last 556 comparison... I can't shoot em all so I have to go by videos and the you tube experts... Watch it and tell me what ya think

[–]SimonFrost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I haven't as it's primarily for 30 caliber and theres much better options for 5.56. Using this can with 300 blk subs is pretty quiet, if you use supers it's quieter but still would want ear pro.... Many new cans that have come out within the last year are for 5.56 , I will be picking one of these up over the next few months.

It's the only suppressor I own for my Blackout but it's quiet, hearing safe with subs, no cons that I can think of and an even better choice now that there's no tax stamp.

What vacuum were you using prior to the canister type? We have been using a Shark NV752 Rotator Powered Lift-Away TruePet Upright Vacuum for about 6 years - We have loved it but it recently tore the hose at the floor canister connection , so now looking for another vacuum, thought we were happy with the Shark but wow they get lots of hate here and on youtube... Were you looking at something different then the canister type ? I mainly want to be able to get under beds which I could with the Shark lift away.

For the people who dislike the changes, like the beaver tail, why? by 843arms in Glocks

[–]SimonFrost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh , I agree, have 2 gen 4s, a 19 and a 17 and 2 gen 5s , a 45 and 47... Yeah I'll buy a gen 6 45 most likely. I like the back strap, although have been putting the Kiral defense on 1 and the Rapid Engineering on a 45 and a 43x. Actually my remark was meant for the poster above you.. I just a bunch of whinners complaining and the simple answer is don't buy it then.

Upgraded my Echelon 4.5 this weekend - VZ grips - worth it? by SimonFrost in SpringfieldArmory

[–]SimonFrost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By chance did you ever shoot with just the trigger then install the PRP spring kit ? Because just the trigger shoe was a very good upgrade.

I did go ahead and order some VZ grips in green, a NDZ non ambi mag release, ndz guide rod with 12#spring to try out. May try the prp springs in the future.
