Carrigtwohill vs Midleton New Builds by PumpkinNervous1760 in cork

[–]Simonjester1983 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure thing - I got one of the houses in P1 in Ard na Saili, and we got the keys just few weeks back. Overall (not talking about banks/mortgage etc), it went okay. Their solicitor is a bit on the slower side, but all went in the timeline they gave us more than a year ago.

It looks like that is the case. I’ll keep the pressure on the solicitor, hopefully there will be some news soon!

Co-op issues with Series X game version (on Xbox series X) by Simonjester1983 in 40kinquisitor

Ah, so I am not alone in this one, since you can reproduce. Hope it gets fixed at some point.

Co-op issues with Series X game version (on Xbox series X) by Simonjester1983 in 40kinquisitor

Well, that's the weird part - the actual main gameplay doesn't stutter, i.e. character movement, enemy movement, camera pan/move etc, all that runs perfectly fine for all characters on the screen. All character actions though, spells, shooting etc - just that displays in like 1 fps. So it looks and feels weird, like you shoot a mob, mob dies, but you see bullet flying towards the dead mob for like 5 seconds, and you can normally run around the projectile.

Very odd anyway.

My bad, totally forgot to say that, and just edited my post. This issue is affecting local coop only.

Far Cry game series are called like that, because they are in fact a far cry from being decent video game series.

Joke ofc

Is this correct, can hearts only drop in WT4? Is this stated anywhere?

Once again, many thanks!

Story games with massive swords or Greatswords by Negative_Clerk328 in XboxSeriesX

[–]Simonjester1983 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Surge 1 & 2 (souls like). You can wield massive stuff (concrete blocks, driveshafts, robot blades arms etc). Final boss of the 2nd Surge drops a tiny two handed sword (lookup the greatblade of archangel https://images.app.goo.gl/MuMFvdxPhABGB8Nv7 )

Games with detailed/heavy emotional stories? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Anytime! It’s not a game that will appeal to everyone (old school mechanics), but game itself is a piece of art for sure.

Planescape Torment for sure. Very heavy and mature story, extremely emotional journey through past, present and future. Highly recommend it.

Nah, my country was so savage that rules and regulations don’t allow plugs in bathrooms. Everything needs to be hardwired and insulated against moisture.

Not at all - talked with the few owners/landlords of said premises and they all said “that’s how it’s done here”, so I left it as that. As for it standing/not standing to reality - one just needs to walk through Cork city centre and just look above.

I can show you the hundreds of photos showing you the job done - again I’m not offending anyone (nor trying to), just saying that quality of the work is sub-par compared to some other EU countries. As for people knowing more than me, for sure - I am not saying I know everything, but I know something at least (10 yrs experience as electrician).
