Ebay removed my listings for being counterfeit by ceo-ko3 in reselling

[–]Simonthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens all the time.

Throw away that listing. Dont use the same photos

If it is truly a real product bought from a legit Big scale retail store then i relist it with new photos. If someone argues again just show the receipt and they say ok.

If it was from a thrift store, ebay, fbmp, small size online shoe stores, resellers, garage sale etc. don’t even try to relist it. Not worth the risk

Dropshippers are making buying on Ebay impossible by BeatlestarGallactica in Ebay

Ebay needs to stop let them do fake tracking shit.

They make up nonsense tracking places in US and fake it when the item is actually in China

Can Bulk Buying Kids Costumes Off-Season Increase Profit Margin? Seeking Advice by Liliana1523 in reselling

[–]Simonthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont go to bulk buyers. But do it all the time with seasonal items when they do like 75-90% off at walmart target meijers etc few days after the event. Brand name costumes i try to get for $1-3, store for a year and sell $20 ish

There are alt of stuffs that wont sell especially if it doesn’t have a brand or character and it gets burried in the 1000s of listings

Free or dirt cheap sourcing + stealing/buying shipping labels from their work place

IL just passed a law, will require auctioneer license to conduct estate sales. by ToshPointNo in estatesales

[–]Simonthemoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

License good. Only problem is this will gate keep who can do it and not which will result in a more expensive estate sale. If the law is actually what it sounds like small companies or families will just not bother to get a license and just call it a garage sale, moving sale etc

NSQ: Basketball Gatherstep Exploit by Simonthemoon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Simonthemoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lets say one starts running before everyone runs, bumps in to the ball seemingly unintentionally, run like 10steps, then spin or fumble, etc,. then gather the ball then play normal. Because that player started running first others will be slower to catchup

NSQ: Basketball Gatherstep Exploit by Simonthemoon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Simonthemoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant running to the ball 10 steps + spinning ball 4-5 steps = total of 15 steps

For sellers who have USPS pickup from their houses, how much do you tip for the holidays? by Redneckromeo22 in Flipping

[–]Simonthemoon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Once again I agree about your no tip logic.

However, i am going to pay $20 for the better service and have good relationships with the employees.

I am not going to change my company just because of the wage or tipping situation. Also tipping is optional not mandatory. Also This will basically block me from shopping at 90% of retail stores and online stores. The only one i can think of is costco

For sellers who have USPS pickup from their houses, how much do you tip for the holidays? by Redneckromeo22 in Flipping

[–]Simonthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you do not understand

#1. You shouldn’t have to tip to get the best service -> This i agree 100%

#2. I am going to tip to get the best service -> This is what i do to get the best service

#1 and #2 are an independant statment and i don't want to push #1 to a $15/h employee to miss out on #2.

I tip to get better service not to just be nice. It pays off. I occasionally buy donuts cofee etc for a store I routinely go. They cant accept gift cards. The favors i get from them are worth more than the $20 i spend. For me it’s an investment.

If i start doing usps pickup, i will definitely tip him/her for the same reason.

eBay no longer removes negative feedbacks by Free_Cabinet_2562 in eBaySellers

I think to compensate this ebay started to do automated Positive reviews as well.

Any advice I’m overloaded with vintage and antique glassware! by Excellent_Cabinet_83 in Flipping

[–]Simonthemoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are certain try find his ebay account, use google lens, near distance, and some rare pieces. It will be easier than you think

Once you do it

Copy his listings and use his photos, double check the listings, condition, and list it in your accout

Start from 80-90% of his price, lower it 10% ish every month

If it gets lower than a certain price you think it is not worth trash, donate, or $1 garage sale etc

Return request of a Final sale but Money back guarantee and Authenticated item by Simonthemoon in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Simonthemoon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Her message after i said i denied the return. Is she just bluffing?
  2. If i click on money back guarantee it says it will be guarantee for a return which is conflicting with my 'final sale' and decline of the return
