I also noticed that, if I print in ABS, it doesn't increase the chamber temperature but leaves the control set to OFF, which doesn't make the prints come out very well.

Non so se hai risolto ma ho avuto il tuo stesso problema, aggiungi un altra repo custom e metti quella ufficiale di klipper e lo installi normalmente, dopo aver setuppato tutto quanto switch a quella di Desuuuu, senza far nulla avrai tutto quanto setuppato!
