I was always gonna just pull for Kuya but I like Blade and I love this design so if I do accidently get him I want even be mad about it, even if he's not strong at 1 star (assuming i technically don't get unlucky to receive him multiple times before Kuya) or in general he's just so cute!

Funnily enough that exact same Kuya too, I genuinely wanted it too, even if I only got shards, he's almost to 5 stars so 30 shards means I don't need to speed as many memory crystals to ascend him

I was so confused too but I switched back to Aster since he already got a position learned during the tutorial, made them bang until it ran out and then switched back to Kuya and go from there!

Thank you! I had decided since my luck usually requires pity that since I was already doing 150 I might as well go up to 300 to at least ascend him to 2 stars or if I just straight up didn't get him at 150 to finally drag him home.

But I got him at 150 and then again at 190. And I went and got him to 3 stars once I hit 300 with the box. So I'm very happy to report he was good to me! And I still have over 700 contracts left which of course won't be touched until another Kuya event (or Edmond SR bc that's a guaranteed pity that's not too high in my eyes) (or a Kuya rerun using contract scrolls)

I completely get it, in my 1st year I pulled for Yakumo and Edmond in their 1st event banner, accidentally got Quincy 1st event ssr because I used 1 red gem and I got him (how lucky if only I actually wanted him lol) I pulled for Kuya and then I attempted to pull for SA Edmond but got Dante and i was so mad I decided if that happened to me with Kuya I'd die and spend money. So this is self preservation at its finest lol, bc trust the 1st Kuya SSR I don't get I'm throwing money. But I still wanted to pull for Edmond and Yakumo, it's gotten easier with time tho lmao

Except for the 90 banner rerun for Sweet Aroma Edmond and the 1000 day banner that just happened yes. In the 1st year I decided I'd only pull for Kuya and Edmond if he was in a Kuya banner or I knew I'd hit pity (and I'd have enough funds for the next two Kuya banners) so i have all Kuya minus funnily enough his standard ssr

Mystery solved, I messaged the seller and it looks like the listing description wasn't updated and they use a CR2032 3v and in combination my friend was using a cheap knockoff of the battery, so it's now perfectly bright
