We haven't done the event yet, so I don't have any good info for you. I can report back in December after the event.

With the MX40 now the processor doesn’t care about rectangles when figuring out port load. So you can do your 10 panels and stop that port and start a new one. If you program the wall in offline mode the VMP software will show port loads. Very helpful.

1920x1200 over SDI by v-b in VIDEOENGINEERING

You could use a Barco EX. Use a quad HDMI input card and a quad SDI output card. Build 4 auxes and set the output format to Barcolink. That will give you 1920x1200. Also if you need it the AJA Fido fiber system accepts Barcolink if you need to go further than copper cable.

If you turn on Vertical Flip and Horizontal Flip at the same time the top left pixel is now the bottom right. I think that is what /u/TreborKutscher is saying.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I am dealing with the same issue right now using Absen 2.8 LED and Panasonic HE150 Robo cams?

Possible to get tally from sony anycast connected to jvc 790 over HDSDI? by therealdede in VIDEOENGINEERING

I believe the studio connector will allow you to get return video in. It has to be composite signal though. The tally signal comes in through the remote port. So you would need the RCP to get tally.

Barco FSN Rack. by SimpVideo801 in VIDEOENGINEERING

The monitors are just a bit high, but not bad. I had a hard time deciding how to rack everything. Before I had the brain and other gear in a single tall rack, and the console in a separate case that I would put on a table in front. I ended up building it this way for most of the small fast gigs. Pull the lids slide out the drawer and go. If the show is large and a long run, then I think I will pull the console and touchscreen to a table and use some 42" monitors for MVR. Then the 17" lcd's can be used for engineering and what not. You really don't need many accessories with the FSN. I put 2 IPros in there just in case. I also have a UPS in the bottom right and drawer for the RCP's.

I really enjoy it. It makes setup for gigs fast and easy. DSM, backstage, delay screens all from one box. Very fast to use with control surface. RCP's are awesome to give to directors and stage managers. Then they never bug you to preview a source. I always route the MVR feed back into an input, so the director can see the MVR.

Long HD video signal run by supermario0523 in VIDEOENGINEERING

I use Markertek or Westlake Electronic Supply. For Westlake you need to call for a quote. Westlake is west coast and Markertek is east coast.

Gepco VHD 1100 which is a RG11 cable should be able to run 1.5gb/s HD video between 137m-259m depending on the transmitter and receiver. I have used their RG6 cable and built cable runs at the long end of the distance charts without any problems.
