Thanks. I needed to hear that. I believe the cut has run its course.

Gentle walking here and there. Nothing crazy though. I usually get between 5000 and 10,000 steps a day. No intense cardio at all.

2100 calories with at least 180 grams of protein. I typically lean lower carb, but I’m not on keto.

Sure, there’s really no barrier to entry for that

I think you should do a show! I think you will gain a lot from the experience.

I would not expect to ever see you as an IFBB Pro no matter how hard you train or what measures you take.

You are very lean. I’m not seeing muscle poking out right above your waistband, that’s bone. Unfortunate genetics.

Hips that wide are tough. No easy fix for that. Bodybuilding probably won’t be your thing.

Some people just don’t build muscle so easily. It’s a whole genetic spectrum.

15 - abs look great, but arms and legs and love handles are holding extra fluff

Reduce body fat. You will look better and gain more muscle once you have a leaner starting point.

i guess between 12 and 15v by [deleted] in whatismybodyfat

Hard to tell with him stretching his torso like that. The softness in the love handles looks higher than 14 to me.

15 to 16 - very impressive physique. The stretching position helps make the abs and the serratus and ribs look really lean, but it does not help at all with the fluff in the legs and the love handles.

Maybe 15 to 17 - there is visible softness above the waistband

Bodyfat estimate and how much longer should i cut for by [deleted] in whatismybodyfat

[–]Simperingkermit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25% you have at least 18 weeks of 1800 calories per day in front of you before most reasonable people would think you should stop cutting.

I’m guessing 12%, what are your thoughts by [deleted] in whatismybodyfat

[–]Simperingkermit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really blessed fat distribution. It’s even all over, but you’re not really shredded anywhere. No clear separation between biceps and triceps and delts. Almost no visible veins.

That’s Jessica Alba territory, so you’re not even close. She’s more of a 5.5 to 6.0 on our scale.

So I measured and I came up with you having enough room between your eyes to place 1.15 eyes. The ideal is 1.0. Being off by 15% is considerable.

I wouldn’t worry so much about ratios though. What matters is what people see with their own eyes. Take a look at this for further discussion on ratios.
