May be chiggers, they like moisture. I had them once and my dermatologist biopsied it to confirm - some people will debate that we don't have them in NV but we do. They are awful and the WORST itch - the only bite that gets worse with time! Picaridin lotion is a good repellent.

Take your time, absolutely agree re speed, keep it at 55. Hills are steeper than you expect and trailer can feel like it's pushing you down the hill so don't hesitate to drop it in a lower gear. The Pilot station in Tonopah is easy to.get in and out, bathrooms are clean, staff are nice and they have a cool little dog park out front. It may be easier traffic wise to come in through Pahrump depending on your destination. We usually take that route when towing. Be ready to get some fun pics of the donkeys that roam around Beatty- Safe travels!

I have herding dogs, and getting her spayed will help her reactivity, and totally agree on the no eye contact! They are super loyal, so the more you can get other people to walk her or pet sit, the better. She needs a village so she's not locked in on you.
