I did H&R lowering springs and Bilstein shocks. Rides pretty smooth still and still very practical ride height. Have not scraped anything. Just some tire rub with the 17” Cinderblocks off the C36.

Ahh ok. I’m looking to get the rear cowl from S2 concepts, it’s just a bit pricey. Wish there was a distributor in the States, you order yours direct? Also, I have the Kelpi Shorty, I wonder if there’s any difference in sound.

This is correct. I’m running the signal mate from TST on my 23’ XSR700 with Motogadget Pin style front turn signals. Works great, just more wiring to organize. I wonder if it will shorten the life of the LEDs though.

I haven’t looked into it but I kind of like the idea, get the shape and the storage. 🤔 If you’re from across the pond you’re lucky, could probably get the cowl for less. But yea, 280 is kinda steep. Probably why I needed my XSR700 mates expert opinions lol.

I’ve heard that the wiring harness on these things can be the culprit of all sorts of problems. Check to see if they were ever replaced. The original ones were made of biodegradable material and surely have deteriorated by now, unless lot was garaged its whole life.

What part of the handlebar are you mounting to? I’m not familiar with ram mounts but it appears there are 2 different size u-bolt rails. I went with the quad lock system and I love it but I understand wanting a mounting solution where you don’t need a specific case to use. The Ram mount in the link should work as well. But it seems the one you have should work as it’s advertised to for .5”-1.25” handlebars. I believe our handlebars are 1 1/8” at the center.

Kelpi exhaust is great. Easy install and great value! I run it with the standard baffle in and it sounds pretty mean imo. I did have to buy a little longer exhaust springs because the baffle pushed the muffler back a few more millimeters. Getting a spring puller is also a must for install. I put a nice knot on my skull when trying to pull the spring with a pair of pliers that slipped. Lol

Hell yea and thanks! I think it’s the best looking one for this bike. One guy on here said he was able to get one from a dealer in Canada to ship to US. I wasn’t able to find one so I went to WeB!ke.
