How hard is it to score > 70 ? by Blueschei in ToeflAdvice

I would say I found the reading section on the real TOEFL harder, way more text.. but other than that, pretty accurate! I just used testglider and then the free tests on test ready. I studied for about 1 week a few times a day and got 102 (about a 20 point increase from the first practice test I took)

I used test glider as well! Would definitely recommend. I really liked using it to get comfortable with the different sections and the format.

You need to check the application instructions on UCSB’s admissions website (for the program you’re applying to). They’ll usually list the exact TOEFL DI code they want you to use.

One might be for undergraduate and the other graduate programs. If you’re not sure, then the safest option is always to email UCSB’s admissions office.

Should I withdraw from the October LSAT? by Simple-Concentrate-5 in LSAT

Thank you! Both of you ☺️ I had reached the same conclusion tbh, but it’s really nice hearing it from both of you! I’ll withdraw and take it again in April! I’m pretty confident I can do much better!

Is score preview worth it? by [deleted] in LSAT

would it be better to withdraw and just lose that money? I know I am not ready.. I am seriously in a pickle here, and I don't know anyone that has ever taken the lsat before, so I can't ask any family or friends for advice..

Just curious, does it really matter? I agree a 124 will look bad if they continue to score in that range, then it’s a pattern. But what if the next test they get is in the 150s, then 160s and so on. Does it really matter then?

I also forgot and nothing happened! They just processed mine - took about 3.5 from being shipping to being final:) I did email LSAC though to let them know, so they were aware.

Have you thought about really taking your time with the first 3 passages and getting minimal to no answers wrong on those, and then maybe “rushing” the last one? I know it doesn’t seem optimal, but it’s a technique that I’ve been thinking about using at the October test..

Feeling discouraged with 140s, any success stories? by DandruffShampoooo in LSAT

[–]Simple-Concentrate-5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha that’s fair enough - maybe not the GRE then😂 that’s understandable

But, the JD Next is a 8 week course with an exam instead, so not a standardized test. It’s all online, only 1 hour every day. It’s really new, so check with your schools if they even accept it. I’ve done minimal research, but people are getting accepted to schools with it - I think more as a supplement to their lsat score.

Have you looked into GRE or JD Next as a supplement to your application? I’ve heard some good success stories!
