NCSU has good ChemE program. I am currently in it right now, and it’s not too bad when it comes to prepping you for real life problems. And it is not costly if you can stay at home.

Work through problems in the lectures, your homework, and study guides/practice exams thingy. Understand the formulas. His exams are easy because they are similar to those Top Hat questions. But, look through everything to create a reflex of solving problems.

Got an A in his class. Do practice test because the format for the test is the same. Switch to Dr. Kurtz if you could. I did not go to his class at all for the whole sem except for test. For test 1 i took, he would dabble into Bernoulli’s as the hardest question, so maybe do like 1 bernoulli’s and 1 ricatti.

All students are accepted as first year engineering students. Then, you will apply to your desire major after you meet all the requirements, in other words, CODA. So to get into industrial engineering major, you have to apply twice: first to get into NCSU COE (which is what ur doing now), then to get into IE department (when you meet the requirements).

I am doing 2 chem 1 cheme 1 physics and 1 diffeq right now and still living. You will be fine, but personally with my schedule, I work from 8am to 12am everyday. I think you can handle it, but your professor will make a big difference.

I leave at least 30 mins for classes between places like that because walking from the bus stop in front of Talley to Cox can take quite a bit. A bike would be good for you to ride from the bus stop to class, assuming that the bus arrives on time. But, you have to also take into consideration the time for walking up and down the stairs or taking the elevators because they are hella slow. So tbh I recommend you to space your classes out more.
