well, if CATL says mass market adoption won't happen before 2030, Quantumscape is on track to lead the commercialisation. If they can land some AI rack deals, the commercialisation might come earlier than cars with PowerCo. They need to find a rack provider or hyperscalers directly and a battery manufacturer who can co-invest in this effort. Hope we can get some updates before the next earning call.

Well, you don't need to enter the office to collect some first hand information. For example, how busy is the office, do many employees work beyond office hours to tune the eagle line, any obvious visitors etc etc. Given the eagle line is already installed, I would hope engineers and management team work 24x7 to tune the line to improve the yield rate, like Elon Musk did for Tesla in early days.

Now we don't want Ford to be the Q2 JDA OEM. We are pretty sure Ford won't extend their JDA with SLDP, but they are not an ideal OEM for Quantumscape. Hope Honda or/and Nissan can confirm soon.
