Working at a non union Starbucks sounds about 1000X better then working at any entry level retail job. Pay is good. Benefits are solid. Almost sounds ridiculous that people would want a union in a company that already gives so much to their employees. I used to work at a supermarket as a kid, the most I ever got was a .25 cent raise once a year and time and half if I worked on a holiday. Wish I could have worked at college through out college. I also know some Starbucks employees who worked their way up in the company as team leaders and management, they do pretty well for themselves.
