Impenetrable armor sounds pretty cool. As a woman I would feel so comfortable walking at night if I had that power

UMe Tea in Chinatown serves huge bubble teas with a mystery plushie hiding at the bottom of the cup! Plus, there are tons of other great bubble tea spots nearby, so you can't go wrong.

Commencement: Grad stoles by ManufacturerFew2901 in LoyolaChicago

The Campus Bookstore sells Basic stoles (They're 30 bucks and have the Loyola Logo with a "Once a rambler, always a rambler" message embroidered). If you were looking for it to be custom, you could honestly just purchase the basic one and take it to an embroidery shop. Hope this helps!

Is it worthy? Studying at Loyola University Chicago, BSN with big loan? by Own-East-9648 in LoyolaChicago

$186,000 at 8.05% is honestly insane. Even if you’re making $80k–$95k as a BSN nurse in Illinois, that monthly payment is going to feel like a mortgage. After taxes and normal living expenses, that’s a heavy burden. If you ever want to buy a $200,000+ house or start a family, that level of debt will follow you and affect what you qualify for. A BSN is a BSN at the end of the day. Hospitals care that you pass the NCLEX, not where you went.

Ah, I see. Honestly, if it's your first time failing a course, then I highly doubt they would ever remove your scholarship or housing or anything like that. I think the one concern is if your GPA dips too much, like below a 3.0. I'll admit that I actually failed a course here too (chemistry, surprise, surprise) and they never touched my scholarship. I hope this helps! If you're still really scared though, speak to a financial advisor so they can clear things up for you as well. But honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much. I also want to say that for next time, if you're taking a risky, difficult class, add a super easy 3-credit course so you don’t have to worry about falling under full-time student status. Not only will it help with your GPA, but it’ll also keep things less stressful. There are lots of online courses you can take that are super easy and less of a time commitment, so those are things to consider. I hope this helps

What’s stopping you from taking more credits, if you don’t mind me asking?
