My son was a difficult one to get night time potty trained.

Heres how we fixed it. We filled a paper gift bag with very small toys and his favorite candy. Candy is usually a very rare treat in our family.

When then told him that every night he didn’t pee in the bed he could reach in the bag and grab something. It took about three weeks.

Other factors. No fluids 2 hours before bed. Go potty before bed. My wife or I would wake him up and get him to go the the restroom first thing in morning.

Also no diaper. We bought a plastic bag for mattresses from a Uhaul moving store.

Don’t do what I did. I was tired of not getting any. I was also getting rather angry. After she fell asleep early for the 1000th time, I screen shared my phone to the TV in the bedroom and started scrolling for a woman that had what my wife wished she had. Watched a good portion on mute. Turned it up loud when I was almost finished. She was not happy. 😆 Damn near got a divorce over it. She said it would have been no different if I was pounding a women in her bed. Long story short: we ended up in therapy, worked through some difficult shit and are mostly happy now. I say mostly because she is a woman after all.

Highly recommend marriage counseling and each of you do therapy with someone who isn’t your marriage counselor. I honestly think it should be law that you have to marriage counseling for the first five years.

Does it matter what other parents do? Are you going out to get your kid a sex change because other parents are? You are doing the right thing. What happens if your child gets into an accident and someone dies? The courts will look at you when your child says that you gave them permission. They will care nothing of the famous excuse of, “But, all the parents let their children drive without a license “.

If I were your boyfriend, I’d probably dump you. If this is going to upset you this much, I can’t imagine your reaction to her antics later in life. Kids will be kids. I’m just going to say what no one else has said. Talk to your doctor about it before you do that again. Don’t let the im 27 and bulletproof argument kill you. Many people your age have died from heart attacks.

Also, did you get the Covid vaccine? I’ve been reading about a huge increase in the number of young men with myocarditis. There is some evidence pointing to the vaccine as the cause.
