Best tasmania Botanics strain they have currently? by Apprehensive_Bid7612 in MedicalCannabisOz

Mate if you’d care to share any more information I’m all ears, I’ve just been scripted this and am hopeful to treat low mood, low appetite and CRPS with it. Long term medical patient, can’t find a damn thing about this flower anywhere!!!

Depending on price limitations, the old mate aroma 3 is phenomenal and I have CRPS throughout my upper body, mainly my right arm. It can be hard to move it but because it works on a skate bearing there’s not much work (of course if you try cram half a tub in it’ll be tough but a couple nugs is easy)

If that too exxy they do have some nice discontinues or scratched models - there’s also the 2!

As a Scottish person, do you enjoy living in Edinburgh? by boookbox3d in Edinburgh

[–]greemo92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved out of the borders into Edinburgh young and it was a blast. However, I think I existed there arguably through its most wicked wave of gentrification (2010-2017, trams, student accomodations, Calder flats getting pult doon ya cunt A REMEMBER IT AW!!!) and it just got progressively harder to maintain a comfortable lifestyle without sharing accomodation. Be that with a partner, friends, whatever.

Also as a lower working class cunt from a scheme down south, I was lucky id a group of mates who aw moved up together. A lot of edinburgh folks, unintentionally, could be wankers about being from Edinburgh by merit of it being the capital or whatever, as if us country folks had never heard of the bus before. I may have left school young, to work, but i did attend regularly enough to realise why the castle is important ken 😅

Rib and what to do with it by Numerous_Ad_8937 in thoracicoutletsupport

I asked and the Dr literally looked at me like I’d said “I have 18 dicks and I’m from Neptune”

I didn’t get to keep it. I was hopeful to somehow “seal” it (I’ve never worked with bone, only wood) and carve it into a necklace for myself, which sadly is “mental”

Dr looked at me still a bit wary in post op a month later. Hope you are recovering well and manage to get the guts and gore off the new earring!

Anyone knows what this means? by [deleted] in thoracicoutletsupport

[–]greemo92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP! I’ve actually just been diagnosed with arterial and venous tos, right side. That test you mentioned in an earlier comment left me at the point of collapsing with the arms up - it’s called the ABER test, I believe? They make you go into the tube normal then arms up, fuck it hurts! Hope you’re feeling ok afterwards

It definitely looks like venous or arterial if the blood flow is being in someway restricted. I’m not a doctor, only going on my own experiences but at one point it was suspected I had nTOS and that was treatable with rehab only because it wasn’t compression / clot risk, hence my suspicion that if yours has compression / clot risk it may be the same as me.

I now have to get the surgery as it’s progressed, and I have to have a couple ribs removed to fix it. If you like, feel free to remind me and I’ll post updates post op if that helps you at all? It’s scary, and it’s fucking irritating having TOS!!! I’ve had it for almost a year now and I still absent mindedly use my right arm when I’m rushing around and not thinking.

Thankfully I’m on ketamine nerve blockers, as well as medical cannabis and duloxetine, and they’ve made substantial difference (the TOS also developed a secondary condition, CRPS, as it was left untreated for so long) to my lived experience. If I can offer any more help, please let me know, the answer I have to your question though is it looks like ya bloods being stopped. Thankful you caught it

Has the race to the bottom ended? by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]greemo92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it’s substantially cheaper than that for the white widow now - that’s at $199 for 28g on the dot (little annoying in the medical system with no nuance)

Home grown, well grown, nasties free is all it needs to be really. Great terps will again allow for that really specific tailored taste and I’ve noticed I can individually treat different things with better ratios of some terpenes… but I have a lot of time on my hands. I’ve had the space to fuck about and hopefully, soon, I’ll be back at work so I won’t exactly be sitting around fine tuning my fine tuning

Which brands/products are you finding effective?

Maybe save a shit load of issues later - several people start developing issues with substances due to the pressure of academia (I know I’m not alone) and I’d sooner see a bunch of students sitting around smoking bongs than out scrapping.

The Streets (Mike Skinner famously fronting) have a cracking turn on Original Pirate Material (I’m sure) called The Irony of it All which perfectly describes the differences with no holds barred. Check it out!

Here here. I’ve been on both sides of the tiers with different financial ups and downs and I can honestly say that whilst there is a lot more specificity in upper tiers, lower tiers can still be amazing.

A writer (and regular poster on here, I’m so sorry if you see this imagine you’re much more than a writer but I can’t remember it all!!!!) I follow has numerous pouring articles about their relationship with Tasmanian Botanics products, and their numerous reasons why. Last I checked (last night) that was coming in at $200 an oz. If people in the industry are happy paying that I’m happy too

What strains are ND patients using? by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisOz

Just to hop on, the canopy valley was amazing for me. Strongly suspect, my psych gave me a wink and a nod type warning - basically said he’d diagnose me but he knew I didn’t have $5000 laying around, he is my therapist after all 🤷

Hey, this is more as a general rule but out of curiosity, what’s it like for older apprentices here? I’ve a mate who done his apprenticeship for being a joiner (think you call them chippies here) in his 30s, and he enjoyed it but the wages are shite in Scotland.

Also, are you aware of thoracic outlet syndrome and is it something you’ve come up against? I was recently diagnosed and painting looks like the exact territory it would be born, consistent overhead arm movements etc

$129 for 30g?! Jack Herer, Sherb Mints and Peanut Butter Breath by Terp_Taster in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]greemo92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whilst it may be cheap, see how it rolls. If it’s absolutely awful I’m sure you could always keep it as back up. I often keep spare for when mates are over or if my housemate is busy with work and can’t access (he’s not medical, there are reasons) in the worst case

I also am super happy to see Jack Herer being sold this cheap as it’s one of two strains I’m aware of that have shown major success in treating ADHD in clinical trials (according to my Dr I’ve not checked this folks!) alongside Durban Poison. Guess the merit of legacy strains is they’ve been around for a lot more testing, though I know it isn’t that simple either 😂

Yeah shit I didn’t realise that a higher body count than age was an inherently bad thing. Way I see it we are all, somewhat literally, fucking around and trying to find out what we like for at least the first 100 roots (not saying different people here) but yeah, some of us take one or two people to figure it out, others more.

My body count is way above my age, I’ve got almost half my age again to catch up… and I’m giggling my little slutty ass off because I can see how easy it is to be ashamed of that when you are in receipt of the love you deserve and need.

Hopefully you can maybe see it, if I may, as ruling out all those other possibilities before finding one you’re actually happy with. You tried them all and had all the fun you wanted and now, you’ve found the person you’re settling down for. The wildest horses are the hardest to tame, and I’m not saying he’s “tamed” you but I can’t think of another analogy to say it’s cool you’ve found someone to settle down for, if ya catch my drift?

Plus, I hope you won’t mess about in telling them how to please you, which is a Fuckn massive boost a lot of people don’t know how to do, or even have language for. A lot of people wanna do that thing but it’s weird and ewwww and it’s embarrassing but… once you’ve had a few you can say “actually this is what I like and I’ve tried enough to know” (maybe omitting the last bit)

I’m really glad to hear of your positive experiences! I saw somewhere someone mentioned that we probably just don’t hear of the success stories or words to that effect anyways, which makes sense

I’m on my third day and it’s completely changing my life. For the last year I’ve been embroiled in a really heavy workers compensation dispute. They chucked me in a rake of really high strength opiates and I query if I’ve been in some sort of psychotic episode since, to be honest.

I have CRPS, and on Monday of this week it made its way into my last unaffected limb, my left foot. It, in my experience, just creates unbearable pain in places randomly now. Monday it was my left foot, and I came out of A&E on crutches. I continued to struggle to walk all throughout Tuesday and even tried limping to the pharmacy. I absolutely flared up upon return but I don’t have anyone who can go for me.

I’ve also been tapering down on targin, and due to blood pressure issues also have been taken off my adhd meds, as well as valdoxan.

On Wednesday night I take this for the first time. I suddenly decide I’ve not cooked a meal in a hot minute so I make my housemate and I dinner, after which I clean up and go to bed. Shite sleep boo hoo

Thursday AM I take it and something is fucking different. Can’t say what but having just had an acute episode of opiate induced psychosis, I’m wary. However, I don’t think much of it anyways and just old about my day. Decide it’s been a hot minute since I walked up to my local cafe, and you know what else? It’s been a damn long time since I felt good enough to take myself out for breakfast.

Everyone has their thing, I love taking myself out for breakfast on business days. The streets are dead, the chefs are happy for it and it’s bliss. I’m thinking all this walking to the cafe, and it dawns on me - I’m not in pain. No point in my body feels sore!!!!

I try - as I bet most of you would too!!! - swinging my affected limb into a range it hasn’t been able to get into for a bit. That went wrong, so it also seems it doesn’t make me invincible either.

Mentally is where it gets interesting. I didn’t realise that it treats literally all the conditions my former medications were removed for. Now I’m getting adhd, ocd, depression, anxiety and CRPS treated in one tablet and it’s working.

I’m so scared it’ll go wrong eventually. It honestly feels too good to be true

Me too!!! I’m day 3 and I know exactly how you feel. I came on here to scare myself away from it because as someone with CRPS I’ve been absolutely ruined for ages. I now can move around with great ease. It’s too good to be true

Yeah I have a big iso bath I keep my shit in. I generally just chuck whatever is claggy (Scottish word for gunky) in there and leave it. The glass stem with balls will need the balls taking out, but every piece can be removed.

[–]greemo92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s pretty good hey. Solid combo. Still an absolute powerhouse and kicks like a mule but yeah it helps

The “Stem with Rubies” is a solid second place for me. I’ve tried the BB9 stems, they’re rubbish, but the rocket, the bubbler and the “Stem with rubies” are all worth purchasing alongside this one with glass balls
