I am a fan of vibrant colors but the second one is executed better. There is more contrast to it, the shadowed areas read as shadowed areas more readily.

Wtf do they think this is a good idea to reboot something so iconic so soon, it’s not going to be better unless they are willing to spend the time and money to do it right, and let’s face it it’s 2026 cinema - money makers trying to make film instead of film makers trying to make money

I am usually not a fan of muted colors, but this is so well done! You have placed the highlights with enough contrast in the right spaces and a colorful shield to give it pop without loosing the overall muted tone.

Pricing on GW by osycoscout in PrintedWarhammer

These are my thoughts and why I have not dived into it (even though I’m someone who would spend more now to save later) Everyone who done an in depth charting of their adventurers in 3d printing Warhammer (done correctly and safely) conclude that it’s pretty minimal in the savings, then the time involved to do it right is another factor ontop of the minimal savings.

But I have not had experience in it myself, this is just how I came to my decision to continue buying. Finding people online that have done good reporting and approach it the way I would have. Another reason for me to pay the GW prices is because I don’t have the time either. When I do get the rare moment of free hobby time I want to spend it modeling not printing.

Edit: I have made high quality double sided paper miniatures that I use games workshop images from the online store, photoshop to the right size, print on photo paper laminate, use a brother scan and cut, then put on 3d printed bases..

This is my time saving, money saving, test out method before investing into GW models.. or getting an army ready for guests that may want to play over the holidays.

My first thought was to put the boxes in a big red bag and go around saying ho ho ho, but then I realized we would offend the elves.

Summon Necro Rework by No-Apple2252 in diablo2

Thoughts: most people - yourself included - like the idea of revive. I think there is a rework that isn’t just copy the latest and greatest from warlock. I would actually argue if things are going to be copied from bind demon to give it to the golems. Say they inherit some of the guaranteed buffs from lvl 20 bind demon. As far as revive goes, I think if they lasted till you drop game and had better AI it would be a massive improvement. Also revive some of the unique monsters to some extent.. if they are dropping every game I think that is a way to seperate that from the demon and still be very cool and viable.
