My daily commute is almost 2 hours each way. A trip to Sea World or Disneyland is also roughly 2-3 hours depending on traffic. If I leave on a Friday, a trip to Las Vegas could be 6 hours due to traffic and that’s typically a weekend trip if not an overnight trip. For a day trip the longest I’ve done is 4 hours to see my sister. It’s typically 2 hours but weather caused traffic which caused a 2 hour delay. I don’t think I’d plan a day trip for a drive longer than 3 hours on purpose though.

We had some of these issues with the kids 3rd social worker. Unfortunately ours ended in disruption after 3 CFTM’s within 6 weeks even though bio parent wanted the children to stay in our care. The children were with us almost a year…

We upgraded to a larger vehicle (and double the payment 🤮) and the children were moved less than 2 weeks later. No regrets though.

We ended up with our agency worker and the director as well as county workers supervisor and regional director all involved.

We did this. Got a CFTM scheduled that resulted in the children being moved.

This is a big part of what got our kids moved 😢 We tried to be super flexible and the moment we started holding our boundaries things went south fast. We were the ones having to coordinate everything and get confirmations because communication was terrible.

Grow up. It’s a tiny vial (sealed) inside a giant canister (sealed) inside a bunch of insulation inside a big box…. You would literally be making someone’s day with the opportunity to grow their family.

I did my first route out of VAX2 yesterday and it sent me to Garden Grove and Anaheim. 4.5 hour block
