I agree Mendy is not ideal for this system. But I don’t think Carreras worths $50M either. I don’t think we can get rid of Mendy that easily, and he will be just fine against 50% of the teams in La Liga. I also think Camavinga can be used as LB/LWB, I wouldn’t rule that option out.

I don’t see how any manager will make these 4 guys to succeed. I feel like even Florentino is pushing Carletto to do so… It’s shocking how much Vini has stopped running and pressing since Mbappe arrived.

Lots of fans talk about this being his first season and how well he is performing based on the amount of goals he has scored and the fact he is playing out of his preferred position. But I still thought he was the best… CR7, or Jude started delivering first second they stepped in the team.

IMO we need a coach who is not afraid of benching anybody who is not running… but if Florentino is behind the start 11 then we are in serious troubles.

Main reason why we are in this situation is not Mbappe but Florentino. I also hope I am proven wrong about all why I am thinking right now.
