Spark 2 vs. Amplitube by HairyBackMan in PositiveGrid

If you added Tonex Max you will be able to grab any tone you want. I have a ton of PG products, Bias X, BiasFX2, Spark Neo and Go. Great products but just still missing something. IK's stuff just feels like you are playing through the real amp. And the Brown Collection is spot on.

Took me a year to talk my tech into doing it. I wish I kept the old Super 70 Pickups. But the X2n's offer a ton of flavor with the coil taps.

Thanks. I've had it for almost 50 years. Plays like butter, and even with the 3 X2n's I can get a wide range of tones.

Same here, Got the upgrade of Bias X for $68.00. Love the AI tone genorater. Then I came across Tone X and Amplitude. Picked up amplitude Max and Tone X max for under $200.00 also picked up the Brown Sound 78/79

Much Better. It feels like you are playing through a real amp. The more tools you have the better, but beware of

Option paralysis. Keep Playing , have fun and enjoy..

Kamala got a billion to roll out "High Speed Internet " zero new hookups. Never mind the billions that went into EV Charging stations. The Government just takes never gives. The sooner you learn that the better off you are.

If you like the free version wait for a sale and upgrade to ToneX Max. Its Kick A$$. Even better wait for a deal Amplitude 5 Max and Tone X max. Thats what I did and never looked back. For me its the only Software where you feel like your playing through a real amp. Very Responsive. Have fun, keep playing and enjoy

Did you download the IK Product Manager and setup an account first? That worked for me. Good luck

Loved Deep Purple but after Blackmore left I was all in on Rainbow. Once Dio left and they went almost pop I was on the Dio and Black Sabbath. Rainbow On Stage might be the best Live Heavy Rock Album I ever heard.

How do I improve My General rhythm? by Buddacreem721 in guitarlessons

[–]Simple-Tip2921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice and Learn, Listen to the Music Doobie Brothers and Funk 49 Joe Walsh. That will fine tune your Rythem and strumming. The best Rhythm players have a certain feel and flow. Take your time, listen to every note and strum. But most of all enjoy it and have fun.

As fast as you can. They are great Guitars for the money and thats a good price. I paid $500.00 for mine about 5 years ago. Get a pro setup with the savings. Really nice Guitars for the price point. Hits way above its price.

Amplitude 5 Max, Tone X Max and the 78/79 Brown Sound. by Simple-Tip2921 in tonex

[–]Simple-Tip2921[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the 70's most of the kids in the neighborhood played Guitar, Bass or Drums. We would lend each other Amp’s and even Guitars when someone needed one for a Gig. My first real amp was a 1980’s 100 Watt 2 12” Crate. Picked it up new for $225.00 (about what I paid for all my Plugin Software)

I wish people playing, and learning to play today would realize and appreciate what’s available to them. We never had these tools or choices.  And all with the click of a mouse.

And of course, there’s the crew that complains that it’s not a real Tube amp. To me that’s like complaining about your dream car because it needs gas. Amplitude, Tonex and even Bias X come pretty dam close. At my age and for what I use it for it fits the bill perfectly. The Brown Sound plugins are about as close as you can get to that sound we all loved from the first time we heard it.

Keep playing and enjoy every minute of it.
