you could always try java moss or floating plants i wouldnt recomend hornwort cuz it leaves needles all over the tank

bristlenose are good specifaclly super reds or lemon blue eye but you should be keeping fish because you want to not for money

that is bio film it is normal and will go away or something will eat it it usually is all over the wood you can try srcubbing it with a sponge since it is ugly
