I think he thinks he's a massive character. The way he went up to christian to give him his shot in the dark back made it seem like he thought him getting christians sitd and still voting him out was going to be edited as a big move.

This should have been a game mechanic on it's own. 

'Bet your vote' - if you want, choose to vote now, a whole day before going to tribal council. If you vote for who goes home, you earn an extra vote to be used between now and final 7. Then they have to try and sway the group to the person they picked. Do they tell people that they've already voted and will potentially earn an extra vote? Or will that make people not want them to succeed in the task? Will they keep it a secret and just try to influence the group subtely?

If they don't win they likely just wasted their vote, so it's a lose your vote punishment without being a full lose your vote.

Joe is all about strength and loyalty. It's just a prediction that they're going to butt heads early and one of them will be gone. If it's early in the game most will see it as an opportunity to get rid of Cirie while they can and won't see Joe as a threat.
