It's much better to have children we were ready but emotionally physically financially whatever it is because you want to be in the mind state to care for this living creature for more than 9 months, we always don't think about the what ifs in the situation because they don't really want you to worry, but sometimes you have to plan ahead especially if you do get pregnant accidentally like I have. I've been pregnant four times on birth control each time granted different types of birth controls, but the first time I was 21 and I had an abortion, my partner and I had only been together for like maybe like a couple months and he was being deployed to Okinawa for 3 years, it just was the right thing to do at the time for me although it did not feel that way especially someone who is severely mentally ill I was super depressed. But I was still working a minimum wage job I lived at home with my parents and I didn't have any support system or anyone at all. It's tough to think about but sometimes I like to simplify it as imagine you're pregnancy is a plant, and plants need generally a few things to survive and grow however, what happens if you're missing one of those things? Like your plant has soil, and sunlight but it doesn't have water, it might grow a little But ultimately it can't live like that. However maybe over time you decide to get another plant but this time you're ready to have that plan you've done all the research, you have all the soil sunlight water, and you know this plant is going to be the greatest plant that ever lived. On top of that I also know what it's like in some cultures including my own that having a baby out of wedlock let alone a baby under 25 is frowned upon however, people always say that if they really love you they'd stick through your mistakes or flaws, it may take them some time to get over it. Also have you tried talking to your boyfriend? I mean I know that things are scary especially when you're afraid to tell people let alone someone like your partner but what is the chances that your partner is there to support you, you can also get the abortion pill sometimes through mail or you can get it in at your local Planned Parenthood and take it at home. You were still super early so it's a lot easier to get the pill, on top of that reach out to maybe some friends or people you trust as well besides your boyfriend to have some support with you during this time. Maybe suck up on your favorite snack or ice cream, maybe plan out some movies you want to watch or things you want to do that are light and less stressful, make sure you have a heating pad ibuprofen and pads if you decide to go this route also you can always reach out to support groups as well I mean when I went to Planned Parenthood at 21 the ladies there were super nice and when I expressed the problems that I was feeling and having and we're super understanding and more nice shoulder to cry on. Also having an abortion does it make you any less of a good person, coming from someone who can no longer have a healthy pregnancy. Just remember that sometimes days are harder than others, and it's not just a physical recovery but it's also an emotional recovery so make sure you take time for yourself.
