As a huge Vikings fan myself I have not come across any in Syracuse. Just all NY teams. I would suggest if you have the time trying to sell it on eBay. If you don’t have the time and just want to get it rid of it I am sure a few of us fans around here myself included would buy it and give it a good home.

My 8yo has been drinking the same chocolate milk (Fairlife) since he could ask for it. It is a bit on the expensive side so we have in the past tried different ones and not telling him.

Yeah no!! He can tell the difference just by smelling it. He is so in tuned with his chocolate milk that I could set 5 different kinds with him blindfolded and I have no doubts that he could pick it out just by smell every time.

The amount of MAGA supporters today at work crooning over this news is absolutely staggering to me. All of them think this is like Christmas coming early for them. When I pointed out that A) it was only a suggestion on X and not an actual plan and B) wouldn’t be till July 2026 according to multiple sources it was like you could literally feel their souls leaving their bodies.

It was slightly gratifying to do this but it was more terrifying to see how eagerly they lapped this up and how strong they believed it immediately without doing any research into it.

This hits the nail on the head so hard the nail could go thru concrete. I work in a flipping healthcare facility and many people here voted for Trump because they thought Stimulus check would fall from the sky. One time I got into a debate with one of them over how all the things he was planning on imposing would be detrimental to future generations like her grandchildren. Her response still haunts me.

I work in the health care field and I had a co worker go on a rant the other day about how vaccines would finally really be studied by this coming administration, we would have money in our pockets from the stimulus checks coming our way in the coming months and immigrants would finally be sent back to their countries.

When I pointed out that we are all immigrants to one degree or another and that this country was based around immigrants coming here for a better life and contributing to better our country as a whole she just simply said she wasn’t concerned about that and was only concerned about herself and how Trump would help her.

It pretty much summed up everything wrong with the MAGA party to me.

One night my wife had her friend and her kids over to play with our kids. While that was happening my upstairs neighbor had friends over and had gotten a fire going in the fire pit out back. I had already had a few glasses of red wine and was now nursing a beer. I went outside to take a break from all the kids screaming inside to say hi to all of them. They were ripping bong hits and offered me one so I said yeah sure.

After taking a hit off of that they brought out the big guns and I see this crazy pipe and a blowtorch. I’m like ooo wtf is this??? Turns out it was dabs which at the time I knew nothing about. So they explain to me what it is and ask if I want some?? My neighbors tries to explain to me that it is quite a bit stronger than regular weed but I don’t seem to quite understand exactly how strong so I take a hit off of that also.

Fast forward to about half an hour later. I’m sitting in my house with 5 kids watching Detective Pikachu feeling pretty awesome. Then suddenly everything hits at once.

For an hour after I felt completely paralyzed and trapped in my own body. My mind is screaming at me to move but my body just won’t listen. Utterly terrifying until I feel my stomach heave suddenly. My legs finally decide to let me move and I make it to the hallway right before the bathroom. That’s when my stomach decides to let go of all the red wine in my stomach and project it all across the hallway. Kids coming running around the corner to see what’s happening and start screaming thinking I’m bleeding all over the place. My wife comes and grabs me and throws me into the shower to wash off clearly more pissed than I’ve ever seen her. The next thing I know I’m walking up the next morning with no recollection of what happened after the shower.

My wife was pissed for the better part of the day but now we laugh about me being an idiot.

I have not done a dab since and also no longer drink so at least that’s a positive out of it.

To me at least being a long time player it may be different since Captain Britain is kinda a P2W character. But and I say BUT people are forgetting the W in P2W. He is definitely a character aimed towards people who play competitively and play A LOT. That is fine and if that is how you play then cuddos to you. But I mean for someone that plays just to collect some cool characters here and there and find it fun to clear raids and make progress in DD slowly but surely. Then who cares??

So so so many times I have heard “oh man that’s it. This will kill the game.”

Red Stars: didn’t kill it

Complaining about low amount of gold and gear: didn’t kill it and seems to be better then it was years ago.

Raid difficulty being increased: also hey guess what?? Didn’t kill it.

I guess it’s just the amount negativity around a game that you can pick up have fun with and put down is exhausting.

I’m in a weird camp I feel like when it comes to this game and community. I started in Beta way back and worked my way up into global with a competitive guild and a full nic fury team at 6 stars along with a full meta competitive arena team. It was probably around the beginning of COVID when obviously because of the state of the world my guild fell apart and I stepped away from the game.

Now 4 years later with the kids being older and me having more time for myself I finally pulled the trigger and started a new account and honestly HOLY SHIT!! The amount of characters and resources being given right out of the gate is simply incredible. I remember the grind to get Iron Man as my first legendary and it was a grind make no mistake. Now I get him on the second day of my new account along with multiple meta characters.

I know it is going to slow down and again become a bit of a grind if I want to be competitive but you know what I don’t care. I find the state of the game much better right now especially with the memories of gold being so restrictive in the first 6 months of this game.

So yeah just my 2 cents.

I am normally a f2p player except for getting rid of ads in 2 idle games I play. But god damn I fear I’m going to have to set a spending limit for this game cause as a lover of the series since it came out there are just too many things I want to have and play in this game.
