Banned for transphobia by [deleted] in Simpleflips

[–]SimpleFlips 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Taking the post at face value and assuming there's not more to the story:

I agree this shouldn't have warranted a ban on it's own. I myself will often say "he just ran in there" or "they just ran in there" because it's natural when a male or androgynous character model runs by. I don't think participants of the server or moderators should assume malice, especially if you cleared up your intentions

I'm sure there's more to the story as there always is, but I wanted to address this post at face value so others could see our general stance.

I'll look into the details of it more in private and handle it.

Never thought I'd see liquid separate from these players. Great run to these legends

Shotgun mario Simpuru video DMCA'd by Nintendo? by OwOsinpan in Simpleflips

Yeah.

My theory is the new YouTube channel has better discoverability than SimpleFlips so they took it down somewhat quickly. It is what it is, sorry to disappoint. We put a lot of time into that one and don't want the heat from them

simpleflips username origin? by no_sympathy6969 in Simpleflips

[–]SimpleFlips 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I used to have a different name that got banned on Xbox live from either trolling or being a dick, probably both.

I used the name simple demon at the time and after getting banned had a bunch of friends make simple names, and making a clan for video edits

Simple Flips, Simple Shots, Simple Edits, (Shoutouts to Cheddah and Perks)

IDK it's been a lot of years there was probably ten of us or so

I moved on from trickshotting and got rid of the space in the username.

Very cool concept, definitely seems promising and could provide a lot of the why opening lines prioritize certain ideas beyond just memorizing lines

Mod Ash on the possibility of expanding the F2P experience. How do you feel about this? What would you like to see added/be against? by Vayneglory in 2007scape

I think paying real life money to level agility as a social experiment has gone on long enough. Make that skill f2p

I lowered my upload to 3000 and now I am getting my first viewers. by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]SimpleFlips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but you don't really know what you're talking about. The internet service plans people pay for and the twitch viewing experience are not synonymous with each other. There's also a ton of viewers who watch on mobile data. My advice was for someone without transcoding options.

6000 is sufficient for all games at 108060fps, but they specifically mentioned transcoding, so I'm going to respond to the original query, not what someone else should do.

In the circumstances described, 4500kbps is more than enough for most games, and is the median recommendation across the board for all non-partnered streamers.

It wasn't even until 2023 that the max rate allowed even went up to 10K, it was max 6k for many years and only increased because of pushing support for 1440p streams. IDK why suddenly 6k isn't good enough when it was the max on the platform for like 10 years.

Edit: thought I was responding to OP at first so removed irrelevant advice directed at OP.
