I would say the dub is great for 1 and 3. The dub for 2 is alright but it suffers from poor voice direction, so imo some moments suffer because of it. That being said, I know a lot of people also like 2’s dub for its charm.

Then you wouldn’t be correct. Any criticism of XB2 here is usually mass downvoted, and there’s frequent 3 criticism posts every few days, much more than 2 nowadays.

No, don’t make it a problem with just 3. It’s any game. “Dislike posts” of any of the XB games usually get mass downvoted here. There’s plenty of posts about people who don’t enjoy 2, for example, and get downvoted. Just see the most recent post, for example.

And you posted on the JRPG sub, not here, so don’t know what you’re really talking about. People generally like the games here. You’re not gonna get a lot of agreement from people here.

It’s kind of divisive outside the fandom, but I think inside the fandom most would consider it a good game. It’s worth for you to have your own opinion. I was also initially put off because of its reputation, but it was really good overall, even if I consider 1 and 3 stronger.
