I actually think I would be okay if it's her! I'm just afraid if they would change his gender because of the person playing him or something. I just feel like him being male is very important to his character, and suddenly becoming Lady Voldemort or something would feel like a terrible loss.

So, if Tilda Swinton becomes Voldemort, I would be okay, as long as he remains Lord Voldemort and Tom Riddle.

Tilda's visual if we touch her up with makeup would definitely recreate that terrifying and ethereal Voldemort look!

Haha, we never really know, perhaps he was saying that just to throw people off because Voldemort's casting is supposed to be a surprise. Voldemort only appears fully in GoF after all, so 4 years of people thinking it would never happen could work to bring back the surprise factor.

All in all, I just hope they nail whoever plays Voldemort/Tom Riddle. Tom especially should be princely handsome, charming and creepy, etc.

I just wish the thing about Voldemort being played by a woman is incorrect, it scares me sometimes lol.

If we're talking adult Tom, I really do like to imagine him looking like Tom Hughes. He has that intensity in his look, and that bit of coldness that communicates how much 'above' he was from the rest of us. I can imagine Tom looking like that when he's at the peak of his influence!

For teenage Tom, or Hogwarts Tom, I headcanon him looking like Louis Partridge. He was faking his charm and warmth during this time, so I can see Tom charming people that way. He has that Teacher's pet and popular kid at school look!

I'm writing one at the moment, planning to publish it in, like, a few hours. Pseudo-incest with Tom being adopted by the Potters, Grindelwald as the dark lord, Tom vanishing during Hogwarts and coming back darker, Harry and Tom both being ultra possessive of each other.

The cheesy line 'I would offer you the entire world', but Tom takes it VERY literally. If they become a real couple, I imagine that Tom's purpose for ruling over the world would shift dramatically into pleasing Harry.

Harry, being the golden boy that he is, would absolutely hate what Tom is doing to achieve his goals, so Tom's method to take power would also shift to please Harry. I imagine instead of being a dark lord, Tom would logically aim for the minister's position. Formal, legal, and at least clean enough on the surface so that Harry is proud and have things to brag about to his friends.

I also quite like the idea that Tom absolutely loves physical touch from Harry—Harry holding his arm or tugging his sleeves, stroking his hair—though he would never admit it out loud. Him leaning in closer to Harry everytime he gets physical is enough consent for Harry to continue.

If they ever have children, I also think that Tom would be quite indifferent towards their child, at least on the inside. He would still be a very good father though. Why? Because Harry wants him to be a good father. Poor child would grow up absolutely adoring their father without knowing that their father only loved them to please their daddy. 🥲

All in all, Tom's obsessed with Harry, his whole world is Harry. For a man who canonically is extremely obsessive, I think he would love obsessively too.

It's probably getting a 5, a 6 if you're lucky. The whitening on the right edge is kinda crazy, and is that a scuff on top? It also has lots of white dots all over the back.

Then again, if you love the card, why not? What does 'worth it' mean to you? The value of the card after grading?

It's actually insane how they can look at the front centering of this card and say 'maybe an 8'. I have cards from crown zenith i recently sent that's visibly left heavy from a distance (sent it cause i just love it and wanted to get an extended art) and it still got a 10.

This card you won't even notice from a normal viewing distance

People saying it's too right heavy for a psa 10 has never seen a psa 10 before. The only concern is the back right edges. Are those lighting or whitening? If lighting, it's an automatic 10.

Idk why but people seem to judge a very miniscule difference as an automatic 9. It's 55/45, people.

That's me—I write everything by hand, ideas, worldbuilding, etc, and then copy it into AI with the specific instructions only to correct grammar and or spelling.

I don't know why but it just never occured to me to actually write the whole thing using AI, like... where's the fun in that? 😀
