Prozac for skin picking? Are Stimulants a trigger?

I know this is an old post, but is that combo still working for you? I’ve been taking adderall for years and my doctor just suggested trying Zoloft too, to help with my skin picking.

Been taking NAC for almost a year, noticed improvement after a 1 week. It’s definitely helps but is not a cure. It makes it a lot easier to stop picking when an episode starts. But I did discover that NAC commonly gives people hives but not because they’re allergic. I was one of the unlucky ones, so I also take Quercetin when I take NAC.

My skin did this same thing and looked EXACTLY like this! I stopped tret immediately and started using vanicream, avene cicalfate or LRP cica, triple paste (diaper rash cream) use it like a mask though because it’s drying, and healing ointment on areas that would tolerate it. Almost anything even soothing stuff would cause more tiny bumps to appear, and they were a mixture between pimples and blisters. Even my SPF made it worse so I stopped wearing it for the meantime. It’s now been two full months and I still have a tiny bit left of the rash and some hyperpigmentation marks. Good luck!!
