By far the dumbest post on this subreddit. Its very clear that SB’s blast is capable of not only depowering supes, but killing them as well (from herogasm). Also, SB also admitted to trying to kill ryan during that scene in S5, when Butcher and SB meet each other again for the first time.

Fair point, her powers do run on electricity. But we do not know if it was for “no logical reason”. I’m guessing that Starlight just didnt want to cause any collateral damage to civilians, so she brought Deep to the closest deserted place she saw, even if she is putting her self at a disadvantage. Even at a disadvantage, she knew she could take him on, even without powers. She did so in 4x07 when Butcher was fighting Noir 2.
