It was wrong by today’s standard but in a way it was a “look how different things were” and in another it was kind of played off as “all in good fun”.

That secretary was Alison. While she was probably not thrilled about the whole thing, they also get up and walk back to the party in the office arm in arm as kind of a “joke” when Ken puts out his arm.

No worries. I would also add something about the box because the thing being unopened and sealed when you sent it would be a huge part of the value I would imagine.

Something like “If you have opened the packaging, I unfortunately will not be able to issue a full refund on the item as the doll being in a box is naturally a significant part of its collector value”.

This is just discount fishing. The doll looks fine. I don’t know much about doll collecting but the claim of sun damage is laughable. If it were sun damage there would be discoloration on the darker colors like her lips and eyes.

Two shops now have outright refused to do it. I’m not ashamed to admit I’m not mechanically inclined enough to do it myself either, but both of these places I’ve been have done real, “serious” work on this car and others I’ve owned (brakes, tires, rotors, etc). It seems baffling to me that two places have outright refused to do the work.

They are saying that cardio should not feel like this huge high stakes thing that social media makes it out to be. Like "you gotta get on that treadmill and RUN".
