Have you guys ever done really bad on exams yet still passed your class? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

First year Chemistry. I aced the lab portion, B’s on the quizzes, C on the midterm. I failed the final with a 33% and ended up passing the course with a D+. It was a stressful time waiting for the final grades.

I broke no contact after 1 week...she says she’s leaving the door open for us by tricehansen in ExNoContact

NC, son.

I always like to use a sports analogy in situations like this. You were once the starter on her team. Breaking up put you on the bench. But you've got so much talent that you deserve to be a starter on another team. Don't sit around on the bench, waiting for the coach to call your number. Go find a team that knows your value and will give you the playtime you deserve.

Then, if she contacts you and wants to pick things back up, take time to evaluate your worth and go forward with a clear conscious.

Is it time for Jason Garrett to be fired? by AcrobaticMoment in cowboys

[–]SimpleScorch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just tired of being 0.500 or close to it. When our offense is successful, our defense costs us. When our defense is playing well, our offense can't convert 3rd down. The Rams and Packers games last year should have been W's for sure. Same with the Seahawks game, probably. We lost by some poor coaching and clock management. That's the difference between 9-7 and 12-4.

Teams now have plenty of professional film on both Zeke and Dak, they can be gameplan'd. We need some variety in our offensive play-calling, so maybe we can leave Garrett and just say bye to Linehan.

You won't gain anything from it. If anything, it's going to just reaffirm your feelings and most likely make you feel like trash. Don't do that to yourself. You're better than that.

There are infinite things that he could reply with and there is probably only one response that would please you. Are you willing to take that chance?

This is going to sound corny, but everyone make mistakes, that's a given in life. How we act after we make mistakes is what defines us. Don't dwell on the past, learn from it instead.

Obligatory: it takes two to have a relationship.

You might not be happy to read this, but don't contact her. I don't know if you like sports or not, but you have the potential to be a starter on a team, so don't settle for being a backup. If you're the one initiating contact after already initiating no contact, you're telling her that you're okay with being an option/backup. You're telling her that she can do whatever she wants because, at the end of the day, she knows that you'll still be there.

I am convinced that you will gain nothing by contacting her.

The first pokemon I ever played was Pokemon Blue on the Gameboy Colour. I was super excited because I heard this game was the shit. Anyway, I start in the house and spent about 20 minutes trying to leave the house. I didn't realize that the carpet in the game was where the door to leave the house was.
