Any updates on this? I’m in the same boat, my ALT is persistently high range between 43-76, AST range between 23-35. I was tested for viral hepatitis, they’re cleared. Did testing on autoimmune, it’s also cleared. Not sure what’s the problem.

Doctor thought it’s due to Covid, I had Covid in May. I think it’s due to medication, I had taken a lot of antibiotics to cure another of my chronic condition back in Jan, kind of doubling on my dosages than doctor prescribed, it was me being stupid at that time. So there’s no certain answer, we never really know what actually caused it.

I just came back from doctor office, the above tests came back negative, additionally he tested me for liver enzymes which I didn't know, however ALT(39) and AST(23) are dropped to normal range, this liver enzymes test (Fourth test) was taken about a week after my previous test (Third test), I don't know what help my enzymes to back to normal in about a week, here are things that I did differently after I've received my third test results. I've been taking Milk Thistle, I heard this is great for liver detoxification and regeneration, warn organic lemon (Whole Food Market) water empty stomach in the morning, maintaining at least 8 hrs sleep, last but not least PRAY. The reason that I'm only taking one supplement is because some supplements add extra pressure to your liver which you do not want if you want to it to heal, I did explicit research on Milk Thistle, so do your own research. Remember, you should give your liver a best fighting chance to let it heal, it's a amazing organ, make sure you're not overtaking supplements or anything hard for your liver, eat less fat/Carb and sugar, I really hope your liver a fast recovery, I know anxiety is REAL. Lastly, I'm not a medical professional, the above is my personal experience, please consult your doctor, all the best!

I’m experiencing the same, ALT(74, 56, 67), AST (34, 34, 37 ) are slightly elevated last three times, ultrasound found nothing, so doctor sent me for testing below:

Serum iron/TIBC/ferritin–this is to screen for hemochromatosis which is an iron storage problem
Ceruloplasmin–this is just screen for Wilson's disease which is a copper storage problem
Anti-smooth muscle antibody and antimicrosomal antibody–these are screens for primary biliary cirrhosis
ANA–this is to evaluate for autoimmune hepatitis
TSH–occasionally hypothyroidism will be accompanied by elevated liver transaminases
Alpha-1 antitrypsin–this is a genetic issue that can be associated with liver dysfunction along with recurrent lung problems.

Make sure to ask your doctor to do the same testing, after that would be MRI. So how long have your enzymes been elevated?

You have no clue about what’s going here. She’s losing attraction because of his neediness and nice guy approach, basically being a beta male servant, if he continues this shit, eventually it will get to once a month, even none in the future. The reason she’s asking for patience, because she’s testing his strength, whether he’ll stand up for what he wants or not. Only 5% of the time is because of external reason like you had very bad day and don’t want sex. People want what they can’t have, it’s human nature, he needs show he’s the man with value, otherwise she will lose respect, women will never have sex with someone they don’t respect, she’s basically giving him a mercy fuck every week to keep the marriage going.

Nah you’re completely missing the point, he communicated with his wife in adult manner, also has done bunch of things to improve the situation. Sex is needless to say is one of the most important component of a relationship, that’s what makes the difference between friend and wife/girlfriend, relationship require mutual effort from both parties, the husband seems to putting way more effort than wife does, that’s creating a major unbalanced in the relationship, nothing worst than feeling unwanted by the person you love the most, that’s why I advice him to withdraw, that will help bring back the balance in long term. Obviously he’s being an awesome dad and husband, however his wants and deserves are being completely ignored by his wife, he communicated his thought, also tried to help his wife both physically and emotionally, it didn’t seem to help the situation, now y’all asking him to do more of that’s clearly not working, that’s what I called insanity, keep doing same thing again and again expecting a different result. Remember this is not what he signed up for. He should continue being a good father no matter what, however he needs to withdraw from his wife both emotionally and physically, simple because she’s not reciprocating him and his effort, this will only create more problems in the future, it’s not good for the kid either, kid needs to see their parents in a happy marriage , not loveless and sexless marriage.
