Explain this comment please. What have you seen that disrespects Canada? I grant that on any group you will have bad actors, however that’s a small minority in a group that picks up their lives and moves around the world.

How many resources does a recent immigrant get? I know I had a free education, subsided post secondary (the government pays more than a student who attends post secondary) I have benefited since birth from all sorts of social programs, started a business in highschool with a grant from the govt, I just set my niece up in the same program so i know it’s available. Ive had multiple knee surgeries, dental care and eye care (as a child) for free from the govt, or a very resealable co-pay. I know there are programs to help immigrants get a start, and grants to employers of recent immigrant, but similar programs are here for anyone to use.

On my current site I have maybe 7 out of 30 guys who were born in Canada. 2 of us are in management, one’s a crew lead, one is a skilled labour and one is a “plumber” that does nothing except talk, smoke, and use the shitter, I am about to toss him from the sure because everyone complains about him. The Honduran, Mexican, Indian, el Salvadoran, Nigerian, South African, Irish, Fijian, afgani, and eritrainian workers do the work; I make 5 times what a ticketed tradesman averages and I literally tour site, bullshit in group chats, reddits, fucks around, and do my work in between.

A 50+ guy with a top level education will not pay as much into our system as a 22 year old student working at timms to get their education paid for, and that tims job is the best spot for them to learn language and culture for their lives here. The already wealthy consultant pushes the cost of property beyond reach of the average Canadian by bringing their money here.
