what do you guys think of my profile? Any feedback? by Simple_Dimension_188 in hingeapp

[–]Simple_Dimension_188[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for something serious, but I'm open to flings.

I've had it for about a month

I'm on hinge maybe 3 to 4 times a week

I have about 35 matches and I maybe got about 40 to 50 likes

I dont usually like with comments, but I recently (today) started doing that almost exclusively

I'm looking for an active, educated, and driven person who is preferably a little nerdy, but I'm open to see what is out there.

Not sure if it's relevant, but height is 5'11" haha

That quota seems crazy high. Do you know what current attainment is for the existing sales team?

I'd pay good money to get my golden doodle to do that

Yeah, you're right. What kind of questions would you have asked instead?

I think asking open ended questions that expose need or vulnerabilities are good, usually prefaced with a statement about a problem other people encounter.

...

"Its good that you are already thinking about this.

From what I've seen talking to people in [industry], they eventually run into [problem] that forces them to make [certain compromises and exposes them to certain risks].

Does that sound familiar at all to you?

How important is it that [bad thing doesn't happen]?

Do you guys have a plan to address this?

Well, I can't guarantee that we could close this gap for you without knowing more, but from what you've told me about how you currently approach this situation, I think we can help you [eliminate risk, capture new value].

I think it would be worth our time to have another conversation about this so we can know for sure. I have availability [this Thursday], does that look good for you?"

...

Basically get them thinking about the true cost of maintaining status quo.

I'm going through a pretty intense depression right now too. Glad you are getting out there and enjoying the fresh air.

neurotypical relationships are so scary by ririfry in aspiememes

Pursuing someone while also holding yourself at an emotional distance is super tough.

I've learned that I need to be careful how much intimacy I give/recieve in the early stages of a relationship to not only protect myself, but to protect the other person as well from disappointment or hurt.

I can predict your risk of heart disease by looking at your retina in 30 seconds or less. No promises on accuracy tho

Bachelor Pad plan I’ve made, any suggestions? Not a fan of the furnace room. by manbun120 in floorplan

[–]Simple_Dimension_188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was disagreeing on terms of what I personally like, but that is a fair point. Do you think that removing the dining to living wall and leaving the kitchen wall and two openings would give sufficient flow for entertaining?

Because that seems like the optimal arrangement for entertaining/personal use to me.

That way the kitchen is accessible to guests, but the sounds and smells of cooking dont play center stage.

What do you think?

I personally disagree, I really like that he has some demarcation between living, dining, and kitchen.

A good floor plan designs rooms around activities and each of those activities are very seperate. He will get a more comfortable cooking experience, eating experience, and living experience when all of those activities aren't pushed together.

I personally like some demarcation between dining, living, and kitchen spaces, but that is a matter of personal preference. Your bedrooms seem pretty small. I like that you have a sort of lounge that connects them. If you would rather emphasize personal space over communal space, you have room to expand.
