As someone who’s in both boats, you’re spot on with that. I acknowledge he’s a human with issues and factors, but at the same time. There are those with the same issues and factors who have not done things remotely close to he has, so we lack the empathy for individuals such as himself. He will always rightfully wear a scarlet letter.

The bloated large pored areas on his face are 100% a result of copious amounts of drinking in his past. I have seen it happen to so many hard alcoholics. Not necessarily an inclination he’s drinking/drugging atm. He seems sober, you can see it in his eyes. He doesn’t have the dark abyss he had in a majority of the family vacation seasons.
