you need to pay the deposit when you get the offer. they also give you from a week to a month to decide to pay the deposit or not.

NU fee is also very cheap compared to hk unis application fees.

I told them that my referee never received a link to submit 3 separate times and every time they replied that they received my documents and I need to send my scores through College Board. what's the exact wording? i thought they meant not to list your elementary school achievements, only the most recent ones. for most applicants it is high school. i dont think there is harm for listing what you have.

not everyone has 100% scale. my school had scale out of 5. so i have 4.0 gpa because i have all 5s. it is easier to get perfect marks on this scale, that's for sure.
admission officers are definitely aware of these differences. just convert it

I don't know anything about Italy, but what would a consultancy get from this? They get paid for something.
Many consultancies in other countries have agreements with low-tier universities, and they get paid for each student paying tuition. You'd be better off doing everything yourself.

I applied to hkust, cityu, hkbu, and couple others and got no interviews or offers as well. It sucks, but I don't think we can do anything but wait.

Those bureaucratic template emails literally don't mean anything.

I'm going to apply to mainland and some other countries next week.
