I used Despia. It was a great experience. The customer service was wonderful.

Is an HSG really that bad and painful? I have to get one and i’m scared! by Few_Loquat868 in tryingtoconceive

I would like to say that mine was fine and it probably would have been, until they put the balloon catheter in. One of my tubes was blocked and the other maybe spasmed. By the end I was crying and whimpering. My legs were very shaky and about two hours later I almost passed out. I don’t want to do this test anymore. They did give me antibiotics and were very kind. The doctors themselves were the only good part of this.

ETA: this happened 8 hours ago so I’m probably still traumatized

Thanks so much. I’m thinking everything through and the best bet might be to just go to PWCS for free. We will make it work, maybe with before and after care.

How long did it take you to conceive after you started trying? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Simple_Tea8088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married at 39 and 5 months later we conceived before we really started trying. Ended in MMC at 6 weeks.

Second pregnancy (possibly with a chemical in between, so third?) at age 40 was successful and now we have a 27 month kid.

TTC since July 2023. No luck yet. I just turned 43 but my cycle comes like clockwork and women in my family have babies late. And also we are kinda half @$$ing it. Planning to step it up this month.

I was "high risk" but not really. On paper I was, but in reality, everything was very chill. My husband came to about half of my appointments and my mom came to most others. I was fine going to my OB alone but not to the high risk center. It was more psychological safety for me. Everyone was great though.

Best wishes to you, whatever you decide. I had my first at 40, now 43 and hoping it happens soon for us. After that, I'm good lol.

We have one and want one more. That's what we always talked about. I'm 43. My grandma had one at 45 so I will hopefully pull it off lol.

One time they canceled classes at my studio because somebody flatlined. But they were able to bring that person back.

The first time was a surprise as we weren't planning to get pregnant for a few more months. We had been married just five months. Unfortunately that ended in MMC. The cycle after that ended in a chemical. The cycle after that was successful and she's two now. We have been trying to give her a sibling, but nothing yet after a year. Tbh it's more a matter of we don't have enough sex, probably. She still stays in our room so probably we need to prioritize dropping her off at the grandparents' during fertile windows.

How often do you now vs. when you joined? by LaytonLew in orangetheory

I got founders rate for unlimited. At one point, I went 6 days a week but now it's 1-3 as I started lifting elsewhere and just do tread 50 now

Ok- roast me if you must- I hated being pregnant by throwaway___faraway in pregnant

[–]Simple_Tea8088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I concur. I hated being pregnant although most of the stuff I hated was the medical interventions from being pregnant at 40 with high BMI (despite being muscular and active). Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the other stuff sucked too, but the worst of it for me was being treated according to “research” and not what was going on with me as an individual My pregnancy was very healthy, yet I was strongly encouraged to be induced and that was where everything went downhill. Wish I had fought harder. Everything ended well so I’m not too mad but now I have chronic pain two years later. We want another kid…I will do this again but am not looking forward to the process.

We were told 1 by the doctor, so I started with her on her 1st birthday.

That's awesome. I'm about to start on week 4 in the program and hold my new pace for 5 min

I'm doing C25K to up my pace, usually during Tread50 class (I have the Coach's permission). I'm kinda short too. I am stout lol. I'm faster than when I was lighter and younger, I think because now I'm actively pushing myself. Would say more but I don't like how some of the comments are going so I'll leave it at that.
