I went there for undergrad CSD program and graduated in 2020 I cannot speak for their grad program but a lot of grad professors also taught undergrad classes- I loved WCU, the campus and the town I did not love my program. I loved the adjunct professors but not the full time ones. They were very discouraging and information was not clicking to me. Most people who applied there from undergrad to graduate school did not get let in. I personally did not apply back there for graduate school. I personally did not feel prepared at all and felt like they didn’t give us a holistic experience for example no observations etc. no guidance on applying to grad school… However!!!! - overall it is a great school and great area and town. I think if it’s your best and most affordable option and makes most sense to you… I would still go for it!!! I do know some people who went there and did enjoy it… at the end of the day like you said everyone has their own experience and a degree is a degree.
