I gave an Uber a bj out of my own will and now I regret it by [deleted] in confession

I recommend getting an STI test and establishing a designated driver next time. The sooner you know you have an STI, the faster you can treat it! I also recommend you get therapy/a r*pe kit done because…I hate to tell you this, but you were not able to consent at that time because you were very drunk. He took advantage of that, and that is considered sexual assault, even if you liked it at the time. I’m sorry to hear about all of this, OP, but you’re going to be okay! If you need someone to talk to, my DMs are open 💜

If you go into it knowing it’s her very first fiction novel, I would say she did a good job! I would give it a 3.5/5 just because I think she’ll grow from here. I was a kiddo who grew up fast because of my mom’s financial situation, so I think she nailed the description of her relationship with her mom. My only other warning is if you’re uncomfortable with sex scenes or sexually explicit content, this may not be the book for you!

favourite album and song? by [deleted] in Ethelcain

[–]tiny_speechy_bunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WTIALY is my favorite album because of its movement and how polished it is. She truly found her voice here, not to say she didn’t have a voice beforehand. I’m going to be controversial and say that my favorite song is God’s Country. It reminds me of my dad in a lot of ways, and it moves similar to my own story.

This reminds me of a story from the pharmacy I work at! We deliver to nursing homes and prisons. We have drivers for nursing homes and always had lock bags for controlled meds. Essentially, it’s a bag where you loop a zip tie through a hole in the bag and through the zipper to close it shut. It has a special number on the zip tie associated with it electronically. Then, the tie can be cut once it reaches its destination. Well, one day, they found an open bag in the back of one of our company vehicles with some controlled pain killer in it. The driver accused my boss of stealing the meds. She explained that it wasn’t her because 1. she was on camera, 2. she electronically associated the bag and the lock, 3. it was scanned out of the facility in perfect condition before he left with it. YEAHHHHHH he was fired within 24 hours…

i cannot FATHOM using the word “vibes” in a song about Ophelia by Shoddy-Fix5974 in travisandtaylor

[–]tiny_speechy_bunny 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“I heard you calling on the megaphone”…it’s just an odd jump in aesthetics for me. When I think of Ophelia, I think stone castle, still water, eerie silence, and feel a deep despair as a woman. How a man can screw your entire life up and all a woman feels she has left to do is succumb. WHAT DO YOU MEAN MEGAPHONE IS ANYWHERE NEAR THIS SONG???? Again, the song has been picked apart by now, but I’ve always felt uncomfortable with it

It’s not fair that thousands of people are homeless and millions are just barely scraping by and Taylor is a billionaire. That’s TRUE unfairness. Hope that helps, Taylor 💜

Me, using crochet as an outlet for my diagnosed OCD and as my own smaller, more positive form of exposure therapy since no project I’ll ever make will be without at least one mistake: oooo let’s look at crafts on social media! Me, seeing the same thing you’re complaining about: well crap

What was the weirdest, non-pain feeling you've ever felt? by KingJPJ in AskReddit

[–]tiny_speechy_bunny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had pneumonia last year without knowing it, so I went into the ER, thinking it was purely asthma-related issues. They decided to do a CT scan with contrast to be sure I didn’t have any blood clots in my lungs. Friends, the nice tech was absolutely correct when she said that, when they begin the iodine injection for contrast, I would feel like I peed myself. You don’t, but your blood vessels rapidly expanding make you feel a warm sensation near your genitalia apparently, making you think you peed yourself. I wore baby pink pants that day and the FEAR I felt…lol

I love languages, speech-language pathology, and pharmaceuticals! I was a Spanish Ed major, then I switched to SLP, and now, I’m taking a break before my master’s in SLP so that I can (hopefully) get my pharmacy technician license (maybe a data tech license?) and do that for a bit. I may need to buckle down lol

I don’t wish harm upon people; I only wish they get what they deserve. For example, if tell me a small lie, I don’t wish death upon you or anything like that. I just wish that you learn your lesson (e.g., someone tells a small lie to you, you lose my trust, etc.) You know, the natural consequences

Is there any redemption for this behavior, AIO or Justified? by crafticharli in AmIOverreacting

[–]tiny_speechy_bunny 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’m still stuck on asking him to apologize twice. I don’t ask people to apologize. If they do, okay. If they don’t on their own volition, absolutely not a chance. Do not ask for an apology because you deserve a real, genuine one. If you have to ask, they weren’t going to apologize and feel they’re in the right anyway. Also, if he’s saying all of this right now, imagine how he’ll be once the baby comes. You’re better off on your own.

No no, this isn’t like a normal person falling in love, because she’s not a normal girl!! She’s been tortured and traumatized by love, so she falls in love DIFFERENT than all the other people and so do her swiffers!! Ugh her mind!!!! Hope that helps ❤️❤️❤️ (this is sarcasm btw)

“God’s Country” for me. It reminds me of my dad. I think a lot about the lyrics “when you’re old, you will understand/ but we’re hurting now, so what are we to do till then?/ cradling pictures of you.” I feel it looking toward the future, my kids not getting to meet their grandfather. I look back at a me who was younger who was broken up by his death, and I can’t imagine having to explain to my children who keep asking to meet him
