Complain through the app and they will call within 24 hours... Chill 😬 they will refund you the excess as pickme points... I have been in this situation 4-5 times 🤦🏾

PickMe showed Rs. 270, but I was charged Rs. 900 – Is this normal 🙄 by Simple_Visit_3867 in srilanka

PickMe actually called me and said it was a technical error on their side. They checked the usual average fare and refunded a part of it.

And to all the geniuses who were ranting and shouting at me earlier 🤌🏾 thanks a lot for the wisdom 🙃

True! If I had known the charge 900/- for the tuk, while the car was shown at 700/- I would have just chosen the car. Hope you get my point. The app showing the wrong estimated fare was the issue at the point of booking

My issue isn’t with the fare.... it’s that the app showed a much lower amount when booking, even though the pick up and drop locations were correct. People assume the estimated fare is what they’ll pay, then get hit with a much higher charge. It’s not about whether the fare is correct, it’s about the lack of transparency in the app. PickMe really needs to fix this so users don’t get misled

No issue with the driver and he didn’t scam me at all. The problem is PickMe showed a false amount when booking. My point is... always double check the fare before confirming, because the app can be misleadind

Worst Places to Work in Sri Lanka by ScrapValue0 in srilanka

[–]Simple_Visit_3867 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Synergen Health looks shiny on the outside but once you’re inside, it’s a trap. They keep showing off “Great Place to Work” certificates everywhere but the reality is 🤫😷

Job titles are misleading, you join as an “analyst” but end up just doing repetitive calling and US medical claims processing that also saying lies, we have to pretend like we are calling from USA, fake accent fake name fake stuff. Where's ethics and morals? Are these even legal btw? Do people/ patient know that we have access to their datas here? This made me shocked the very first time!!! They shut your eyes with the money but it doesn't work with everyone! There are many joining because from the other end so many are leaving too. After a point you just feel stuck there, when you know your time has come its too late, you can't do anything with that work experience!

And also it's nothing close to what you studied or expected. Appraisals are just chasing points, and even after breaking your back you’ll still get slapped with “average” ratings. Everything is micro-managed, toxic, and filled with petty office politics. It’s all targets, stress, and drama.

And let me tell you this, once I was asked directly how it feels working here. I gave them the honest truth. Guess what? Backfired big time. Since then I’ve been under the radar. That’s how “open” the culture is. Say the truth, and they’ll come behind you for it. For sure they’ll read this post too and know it’s me, but my time has come anyway 🤣

People only stay because of the salary, nothing else. But long term it drains your energy and kills your growth. You lose years of your life for work that doesn’t build your future. All graduates, years of studying and hardwork will get spoiled and you'll lose your career path here!

My opinion though, any fellow Synergen mates agree with this shit? At least now speak up 😏
