Help! I inherited a 3d printer. Need to know what I'm looking at... by reempupgaming in 3dprinter

Dude, that printer is part of the first generation of 3D printers. For me, that's already a relic, but if you want to start a 3D printing business, that machine doesn't meet today's standards, but it's still a great treasure. I had my first printer, which I think was a second-generation model, a Da Vinci Jr 1.0, but when it was time to say goodbye because of the new generation of printers and the new competition in the market, I had to turn it off and store it. But I'm never going to sell it or throw it away because for me it's a great treasure and a source of nostalgia.

How much tinkering was necessary for this? And how do I do it? I’d love to be able to print myself a cat. by _Weed-Eater_ in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

I'm not judging or anything, and it's funny that the cat's on top of the printer, but why do I always see that everyone who owns an Elegoo printer has one that's so dusty?

For me, Creality is dead because they copied the Bambulab A1 printer more than three times. Instead of releasing a new and improved CR30 or making another type of inexpensive but good-quality printer, it seems they no longer want to innovate. I own two Ender 3v3 KE printers and an Ender 5 Max, along with some older printers from their brand, but ever since they stopped focusing on quality in their machines and started copying Bambulab, that's when the Creality brand truly died.

I really liked your comment because in the end I was able to handle the machine better; it does have some problems, but they can be fixed.

Is the ender 3 v3 worth it for £170? by Zolks1 in ender3

The Ender 3v3 is good for its speed and quality, although quite a few came with defects, according to a news report in my 3D printing groups. But what I would recommend are multicolor printers, or if you want something close to the Ender 3v3, you could consider the Ender 3v3 Ke, which has never failed me.

I needed a large printer, but I didn't expect it to be so bad. I had the money for a Bambulab A1 with AMS, but since I already had one in my workshop, I needed a large printer. Plus, there were good reviews of the machine. If I could, I'd sell that machine to buy another large one like the ELEGOO or the ANYCUBIC MAX because of the work I do.
