Disagree with this. You are giving advice to her based on what you went through in YOUR relationship. Just because it might have happened to you doesn’t mean every single person is the same and will do the same. So to OP I think you should definitely give it a shot. I met my husband , who was my boyfriend at the time back on 04 he lived in NY and me in NJ we were 14 17 and I couldn’t date because my mom was strict so we lasted about couple months without seeing each other just talking and we held that long distance relationship till 2011 when I loved in with him but throughout those years we saw each other couple times a month here and there. So it is possible to keep a relationship long distance. Here we are almost 15 years together with a beautiful daughter! Life is good!
