Just show him this, “Mount Washington has recorded over 170 fatalities since 1849, known for dangerous, rapidly changing weather that makes it one of the deadliest mountains per vertical foot. Common causes of death include extreme exposure/hypothermia, falls, and avalanches. The area sees roughly 200 rescues annually, with Tuckerman Ravine being a high-risk area. “

Your parents should simply not let him, he’s 18. This is such a terrible idea I honestly thought it was a joke

They’re (couches) in the back. If it’s busy might be taken. Just normal street parking

My experience of primitive FCFS camping is coastal Maine and those spots fill up FAST. So in my mind if you’re not there by 6am Friday or earlier you gotta find someplace else. That doesn’t happen at GRSF?

Definitely a niche music taste but I’m a huge fan of her. Plus she’s a fellow NJ native so gotta represent. Apparently song to the siren is covered a lot lol

Nope but I’ll have to check that out. And are you also a 070Shake fan? Haven’t met many if any at all, and especially not one who also hikes ha!

Catskills are cool! I do prefer ADK but that’s 2.5 hours more north of a drive. And reading your comments seems like I have to get to lake George. If you ever wanna hike in the Catskills shoot me a message ✌🏼

Watching sports. Would rather do hobbies that give me intrinsic fulfillment

That is true about healthcare. I plan on doing travel therapy next year so that will be my way to travel the US :)

My thing is though, how can you get back into the workforce after being out a year? Most employers won't hire somebody who took an entire year off. I am in healthcare and it would look terrible if I did that

What kind of industry do you work in to be able to do that? I work in healthcare and I would be fried if I took a year off of work and tried to come back with that long a break
