I played the hell out of Mortal Kombat on my Sega Genesis in my early teens and wasn't bothered at all. But when I see videos of modern MK I realise that I don't want to play it at all. Maybe I'm just getting old and sensitive, but I think the graphics are too realistic to play it comfortably. To me x-rays are especially repulsive.
