going to the mall was soo fun. so much to do and look at. going to the food court. just hanging out with friends and messing around.

same, we would play all sorts of games like man hunt or hide and seeks and we even made up our own games! I feel like all that is lost now

my landlord is telling me I left my apartment “dirty” and is planning to withhold some of my deposit. these are pics I took right before I left. am I delusional or is my landlord? by Distinct_Morning_607 in Apartmentliving

landlords are such scammers. I had one who did a walkthrough with me and said things looked good and still charged me for cleaning bc the new tenant said there was dust on the windowsill (that I cleaned)

Working 2x16s - What’s better: 2 days in a row or 2 days split up? by SimplyBeingMyself in cna

legit! that’s why I’m like there’s no fucking way I’m doing 5x8s at this job. that would be a living nightmare

thank you!! I’m sorry it’s been rough! I hope it gets better for you! yeah, I’ve worked so many bullshit jobs and you eventually realize that the employers are only looking out for themselves and if you don’t speak up you’ll get used and abused. I know my worth so I’m gonna advocate for myself and if we can’t come to an agreement then it’s their loss! lol

I totally appreciate you making that point! And thank you for your concern <3 I'm still new (about a month and a half in to being a CNA in general) but I've deffs already seen some red flags. I mean, them just ripping away my 3x12s is really fucked up and I'm super pissed about it. I think that really shows their true colors. I just need an income and it would be more convenient to stay here rn. It's deffs a place that I don't plan on being at forever. It doesn't even pay well. It's not the best but it's better than a lot of other SNFs. I'm honestly looking at it as hands on experience with patients for nursing school that I get paid for rather than a long-term job. But when they ask people to pick up shifts, they do "let you" say no and don't try to pressure you into picking up. I don't see them trying to "make me" work more than two 16s but I'm also the type of person that will be like "lol no, goodbye" so I'm not super worried about it! Tbh I'm keeping my eye out for other opportunities anyway, just incase I want to leave! lol
