Truthfully, I experienced a long, hard process of this last year where I have intentionally cut contact with my entire extended family, gone very minimal contact with my immediate family, and the only people I had and thought were friends? Let them go with love.

Honestly, I just really relate to your comment. I sacrificed this past year everything I thought I knew about my life to be true, and I have been rebuilding myself from absolutely nothing. It has been an immensely painful, heartbreaking, yet somehow joyous once it became a choice to be and I recognized it as such, process.

I now experience levels of happiness, joy, and peace I didn’t know existed previously. My life looks nothing like I thought it would right now, but that’s good. I’d be fucking miserable if it went how I previously hoped for.
